On Thursday (21st November) evening, the national selectors have announced the 15-member T20I and ODI squads for the upcoming home international series against Windies. After this squad announcement, many Indians have felt disappointed; especially many are missing Sanju Samson, who has been omitted from the national squad without getting a playing opportunity.
After the conclusion of Bangladesh tour of India, Windies will play the limited-overs bilateral series against the hosts India from 6th to 22nd December. At first, they will play a three-match bilateral T20I series (6th to 11th December). Then, they will play another three-match bilateral ODI series (15th to 22nd December).
After the meeting, the national selectors announced the 15-member Indian T20I and ODI squads for the forthcoming home series against Windies. Both teams are almost similar except Washington Sundar is only in the T20I squad and Kedar Jadhav will be available only for the ODI series.

Once the Indian limited-overs squads were announced, the Indian fans gathered on the social media accounts to share their views. One of the major highlights in this team selection was the 25-year-old Sanju Samson’s exclusion.
Many believe Sanju Samson deserves an opportunity while the young wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant is struggling
By showing his regular performances, Sanju Samson recently earned a call-up in the national team for the recently concluded home T20I series against Bangladesh. It was the three-match T20I series where India won by 2-1 but Samson didn’t get any opportunity.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson has recently performed impressively in domestic cricket. Even in a domestic List A match, he slammed a double century (212* against Goa).
While the young wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant is continuously struggling in international cricket, many expected that Sanju Samson would get some opportunities in the limited-overs cricket to prove himself. But the selectors have dropped Samson even without providing at least one opportunity in the playing XI.

On 19th July 2015, Sanju Samson made his international debut through the Harare T20I against Zimbabwe. It was his only international match where he scored 19 runs.
Very expectedly, many Indian cricket fans are upset with the new Indian limited-overs squads. Many have trolled or thrashed angrily on the selectors or BCCI.
