Surprisingly, in his all-India IPL XI, Warne didn’t name the legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. Rohit Sharma and Virender Sehwag were named as the opening partners of this team.

In his best all-India IPL XI, Warne then named Virat Kohli, the present captain of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). The former all-rounder Yuvraj Singh is also in this squad.

Another all-rounder Yusuf Pathan, who played a crucial role in Rajasthan Royals’ success in the IPL 2008, was also included in Warne’s all-India IPL XI. Pathan also won the Player of the Match award in the final of the IPL 2008. Warne praised his performances during the IPL 2008.

The successful Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni is also in Warne’s all-India IPL XI. The all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and the off-spinner Harbhajan Singh were named at next in this list.

At the end of that team, Warne named three Indian pacers. These pacers were Siddharth Trivedi, Munaf Patel and the left-arm pacer Zaheer Khan. In 2013, the right-arm pacer Trivedi was banned for one year due to failing to report that bookies approached him. Meanwhile, Munaf also served for Rajasthan Royals between 2008 and 2010.
