While cricketers are taking rest in the wake of the novel COVID-19 or coronavirus outbreak, former Australian cricketer Tom Moody has recently revealed his favourite Indian fielder. Moody had himself served for Australia between 1987 and 1999 where he played eight Tests and 76 ODIs. He was a member of World Cup-winning Australian team for the 1987 and 1999. After ending his cricket career, Moody decided to involve in coaching, and he is continuing it for a long time.
Apart from coaching the Sri Lanka national cricket team, Moody has also coached in various T20 leagues, including the Indian Premier League (IPL). In the first three seasons of the IPL (2008-2010), Moody played the Head Coach role of the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP).
From 2013-2019, Moody coached another IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), who started their IPL journey from 2013 edition. Under his coaching, the SRH won their first IPL trophy in 2016. So, he has great knowledge of Indian cricket.
