It is the best bowling figures in the Big Bash League (BBL) history. In the early league stage game between Perth Scorchers and Melbourne Stars at Perth on 12th December 2012, Lasith Malinga destroyed the Scorchers. The right-arm pacer had the bowling figures of 4-1-7-6 as Scorchers were bundled out for just 69 (15.2 overs). In reply, Stars scored 29/0 in two overs before the rain-interruption. Malinga’s Stars won that match by 24 runs (D/L method).
