The star South African batsman had to leave IPL midway after picking an injury. Before that he was Rising Pune Supergiants’ second-highest run-scorer with 206 runs at an average of 34.33 in six matches. After making an impressive comeback in the recently concluded tri-series, he would like to carry on his form in the CPL too.
He has been appointed the captain of St Kitts and Nevis Patriots and with players like Lendl Simmons, Thisara Perera, Carlos Brathwaite, his team has enough firepower to perform well in the tournament.
