4) West Indies – Lost 372 ODIs
In the early period of ODI cricket, West Indies (presently known as Windies) was the best cricket team. They won the first two editions of the Cricket World Cup (1975 and 1979) and also finished as the runners-up in the next Cricket World Cup (1983). Since then, the Caribbean side slowly faced the slump, and it became bigger with the time progress. Since their 1979 CWC victory, West Indies has won only one more ICC ODI tournament, and that was the 2004 ICC Champions Trophy victory. In the present time, this Caribbean team is trying hard to grow up once again in this format. West Indies, who have recently played their 800th ODI, has suffered 372 ODI defeats.
