Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) has announced the 30-member shortlisted players for the Ranji Trophy Camp 2019. Five international players are in this list along with the Indian captain Virat Kohli, opener Shikhar Dhawan and the experienced pacer Ishant Sharma.
While the limited-overs domestic tournaments of the ongoing season are going to be end soon, the domestic teams are getting ready for the Ranji Trophy 2019/20. The Ranji Trophy 2019/20 will begin on 9th December 2019 and the final of this tournament will begin on 9th March 2020.

Ahead of the new Ranji Trophy season, the DDCA has organised a Ranji Team Camp 2019 where 30 players have been shortlisted. According to DDCA statement, all these players have to report on Tuesday (26th November) to Arun Jaitley Stadium at 11:00 am.
A total of five Indian team cricketers are in this 30-member squad. These international cricketers are Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Ishant Sharma, Rishabh Pant and Navdeep Saini.

In the last Ranji Trophy season (2018/19), Delhi finished in the last position in the Group B points table. They won only one match in that tournament while drew four times and lost thrice.
Ranji Trophy 2019/20: Delhi is in the tight Group
In the upcoming Ranji Trophy season, Delhi will fight in Group A along with, Andhra, Bengal, Gujarat, Hyderabad, Kerala, Punjab, Rajasthan and last two Ranji Trophy winners Vidarbha. Vidarbha won their first Ranji Trophy in 2017/18 season after beating Delhi in the final of that tournament.

Delhi are currently busy in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2019/20. They are currently fighting to reach in the semi-finals of this tournament. In the Group A of the Super League stage of this tournament, they will play their last game on Wednesday (27th November) against Rajasthan which is the must-winning game for both the teams.

Earlier, in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2019/20, Delhi reached to the quarter-final.
