Barclays Premier League: Five Worst Performers Of 2016 2

Lucas Perez (Arsenal):

Arsene Wenger was desperately searching for a top class striker who can walk into the first team at the club this season but had to settle with La Liga star Lucas Perez, who was on the back of an incredible 17-goal season in Spain. However, the 28-year old failed to impress the manager in his first few appearances and has now fallen behind Olivier Giroud in the pecking order leaving him with little game time this season. Wenger wanted to use him to lead the attack of the side with Sanchez on the wing but the Spaniard was not able to provide the Gunners with the goal scoring threat that they wanted leaving Wenger with no option but to use Sanchez as a false-9. He is yet to score a league goal for the Gunners this season and will remain as a flop for the year 2016.
