Victor Wanyama and Moussa Dembele (Tottenham Hotspur):
Arguably the most balanced midfield pair on this list, Wanyama and Dembele, are two players who are integral to the Spurs’s style of play at the Lane. The former Southampton midfielder likes to drop deep, even between the center halves at times to try and control the tempo of the game but he is not really required to break things up at the other end. He has no creative pressure on him what so ever as all such burden is handled by his Belgian partner Moussa Dembele. A crowd favorite for his ability with the ball, Dembele, likes to create chances in the final third but is disciplined enough to help his back line when needed. Both players have different roles in the squad that complement each other making them an effective pair in the Premier League.
