Another deadline day signing for Chelsea, Marcos Alonso moved to the Bridge from La Liga after two season away from the Premier League. He was hardly impressive in his stint with Sunderland in the England but his performances in Spain caught Conte’s eye in an inflated market.
Though he made 55 appearances for the La Liga outfit, CIES Football Observatory has revealed that Chelsea may have paid double the valuation of the player to bring him to the club on deadline day.
