WWE has suddenly changed the in-ring character of Alexa Bliss upon her return. She is no doubt one of the marquee female performers present in the WWE and a heel character who could garner big heel heat from the fans. But for some reason, WWE has changed her gimmick and turned her into a babyface.
The fact that WWE turned Alexa Bliss a face won’t allow her to despise the crowd like earlier. This would be a reason that The Goddess of WWE could be upset. Recently, one of the fans noted on Twitter that how the great promos of Bliss are missed. The five-time Women’s Champion witnessed this and reacted in the following way,
“I remember a time when I was given a microphone in the middle of the ring… good times.”

It was a classic Alexa Bliss heel moment shared by the fan that forcefully took her down to the memory lane. Being a babyface, there’s no chance for her to hold the mic in hand and garner negative reactions from the fans, for now. It’s a bad thing that the strong character portrayed by her has become less impactful due to this.
Alexa Bliss made her big comeback to the WWE during Friday Night SmackDown, last week. There’re still times for her to cut promos in the near future.
But that won’t be as stronger as it used to be considering she’s a babyface. Also, WWE does not seem to be letting her the same amount of time she used to have with the microphone. She is no more on the singles championship picture which could be the potential reason.
As noted earlier, the in-ring career of Alexa Bliss has been jeopardized due to a concussion. It was said to be an issue on her neck that cost several months of her career, already.
The WWE officials were rumored to be quite upset as her career could be cut short. Bliss has previously made such returns only to go back into another hiatus. We can only hope and pray that her injury does not give her trouble, anymore, at this point.
