Big Show Achieved Big Record On WWE Raw
As per the recent reports from Slice Wrestling, a recent discussion is going on regarding Big Show having one final match. It should happen in a match at WrestleMania 36 that is slated to take place on April 5th. A retirement match in Tampa would be perfect as The Big Show owns a home, there. It would be a perfect send-off to the future WWE Hall Of Famer.
The source added that a couple of matches are being nurtured for the Big Show, as of now. The possible opponent for The Big Show’s retirement match at WrestleMania 36 includes Braun Strowman. His name was brought up mostly in early discussions. This could be a perfect matchup since Strowman would be his true successor in the company in years to come. However, these two men have been performing in different brands, as of late.
Update On Veteran Big Show’s Current Stint On WWE Raw
Another plan is being discussed that could possibly be a tag team match with other superstars. Big Show is currently providing backup to Samoa Joe and Kevin Owens in a feud against Seth Rollins, AOP, and Buddy Murphy. With number games in their favor, the heel team delivered a beatdown on Big Show, a week ago which sidelined him from TV. But he is likely to make a comeback, soon.
In a previous interview with ESPN.com, Big Show talked about his comeback, his recent injuries, and surgeries. He seemed extremely grateful for getting an opportunity to make a comeback on WWE Raw. Moving forward, he wishes to get an opportunity to compete in one last WrestleMania match.
“That’s every competitor’s dream,” he said. “I’d love to get one more in. Especially because it’s in Tampa, where I have a house, so I can drive home after the show.”
