Booker T Ready To Make In-Ring Comeback If WWE Wants Him To

Booker T is associated with WWE in a number of ways since hanging up his boots, for good. He wrestled one last time again Cody Rhodes at TLC 2012 which was his final match on TV.

He and Drew McIntyre defeated Christian and Mark Henry at a SmackDown house show in that same month that was his actual final match in the company, to date. It seems that he would love to change the statistics and wrestle again for the brand if given an opportunity.

That Braehead Arena house show in Glasgow, Scotland on April 21st, 2012 was the last time that the Hall of Famer had wrestled for one last time in WWE. Booker T has wrestled a few times since then in his own promotion run in Texas. But he is not contented with that experience.

During a recent interview with After The Bell podcast, Booker T expressed his eagerness to return if and when WWE needs him.

“I know how hard it is to walk away from the business and you know how hard it is, to walk away from it and say, ‘’Man, that’s the last time I’m gonna do this.’ You know, I’ve been out of a WWE ring for quite some time now but rest assured, if they called me and said, ‘Hey Book, one match!’ You know what I mean? I’d be like, ‘Baby, can you help me find my boots?’” said Booker T when asked about a potential in-ring return.

WWE Hall Of Famer Sunny Arrested Again; Details Revealed

The two-time WWE Hall Of Famer doesn’t have WWE Backstage anymore on FOX as the broadcast channel canceled the show. He had plenty of times especially at this point when coronavirus pandemic is spread everywhere forcing everyone to stay at home.

So he may be busy finding himself in an in-ring ready shape. So it doesn’t surprise us why he wouldn’t want to return to WWE to make good use of those sweats.

Earlier this year, Booker T was desperate to feature in competition when WWE hosted Royal Rumble in his hometown of Houston, Texas. WWE canceled the idea of The Revival taking on the Harlem Heat despite an organic build to the feud.

The Top Guys themselves stretched the feud on TV as well as on social media but WWE didn’t want to book the match. At this point, this match is only possible in AEW as The Revival has moved to WWE’s rival brand.
