The deadly Corona Virus has shown up in the Tampa area, recently forcing the show-hosts of Wrestlemania 36 to come up with precautionary measures. WWE has already applied a ‘no touching’ policy for the superstars’ meet and greet events set for the weekend.
Now, Tampa’s Mayor Jane Castor has this important issue to figure out whether to retain or postpone the show which gives them a major revenue.
Meanwhile, former WWE superstar Ryback talked about the issue on his podcast. He mentioned that considering the recent massacre condition caused by Corona Virus, some of the superstars think that Wrestlemania 36 could be canceled just like NJPW calling off their New Japan Cup,
“From a wrestler’s standpoint, [WrestleMania] is in Tampa and they’re gonna bring people from all over the world to this location. If I’m a wrestler – and I’m speaking from the talent as I’ve talked to a couple of people – the talent believes that WrestleMania is possibly going to get canceled. This is a business and it will impact a lot of things but you have to protect the wrestlers at all costs.”
