Glenn Maxwell revealed that his favourite compliment was when he got compared to Virat Kohli, in a video shared by the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on YouTube. Maxwell also talked about his craziest fan interaction in India and what videos he watches online.
Meanwhile in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, RCB after winning the first game of the season, now has faced back-to-back losses, with the last match loss against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by 1 wicket.

Glenn Maxwell considers comparison to Virat Kohli, his greatest compliment-
“I got compared to Virat Kohli once, that was a serious compliment. It was completely unnecessary and definitely not even true but I had a couple of good knocks and got compared to Virat that was quite nice,” said RCB’ star batter.
While, Australian all-rounder, Maxwell joined RCB in the 2021 edition of IPL, before that he had played for Kings XI Punjab and Mumbai Indians (MI). Whereas along with his national side, the destructive batter has won both ODI World Cup (2015) and the T20 title (2021).
“Anytime you are going through an airport in India it’s pretty crazy. Yesterday, in the car there were people chasing me and Faf (Faf du Plessis) down the road and banging on the windows, that was interesting,” said Maxwell on his craziest fan interaction in India.
Meanwhile, in the high-voltage thriller game against LSG, Maxwell scored the brilliant 59 runs in 29 balls to take his side past 200 run mark, while batting first. But eventually, the home side lost the game, as KL Rahul-led LSG with Nicholas Pooran’s 62 runs in 19 deliveries, the game went to the last ball, and the visitors clinched victory by taking one run in the last ball of the innings.
“Lots of Golf, Good Good, Rick Shiels and guys that I enjoy watching play Golf are Brian Bros and that’s only part of the days watching those guys,” added Maxwell when asked what’s on his browser history,” the right-handed batter said on his browsing history.
After joining the franchise in 2021, Maxwell scored 513 runs in IPL 2021 before scoring 301 runs last season.
“I actually lost weight. I lost 7 kilos after the surgery and I’m pretty motivated and what I need to do to get back,” he said on his diet.
Australian star batsman tied the knot with his Indian-origin girlfriend, Vini Raman, last year. The couple first married as per Christian rituals before tying the knot in a traditional Tamil-style wedding.
“Get more for hitting it out of the stadium; if you lose the ball over the roof maybe getting a couple extra runs,” Glenn expressed his opinion if he want to change any rule of cricket.
Whereas for their 4th game of the season, Faf du Plessis-led RCB will take on Delhi Capitals (DC) at Bengaluru on April 15.
