She arrived in the WWE by winning the all-female season of NXT which itself was a rare accolade for a female wrestler. Unfortunately, her WWE stint came to an end in a quick time that surprised the WWE Universe. But she has enough reasons to leave the brand.

During a recent interview with Ring The Belle, the former WWE Divas Champion talked about the issues she dealt with, in her only WWE title reign. Kaitlyn talked about being disappointed with her Divas Title reign. She expected the reigns to be more significant which was not, at all.

According to her below comments, the contemporary names during her tenure stole the limelight whereas she remained to be a sidekick. The likes of Eve Torres, AJ Lee and The Bella Twins were some of the key attractions back then. Also, the newly introduced Total Divas killed the currently ongoing Women’s Evolution, as per Kaitlyn,

“I had an awesome run, but it was not as action-packed as I had hoped.

I think like when I left it kind of like did die down a little bit and because Eve was a favorite. Also when I had the title, that’s kind of when Total Divas got introduced, and it kind of overshadowed everything that was going on in the women’s division.”

Back in 2018, Kaitlyn did make a comeback to the WWE while competing in the Mae Young Classic tournament on the WWE Network. Many believed that it would eventually mark her full-time return to the company since she had a lot to accomplish in her wrestling career. But this tenure had to end on a quick note, for personal reasons. Check out her below comments where Kaitlyn revealed that she could not commit to the rigorous schedule offered by the WWE,

“I had gone through this really sh*tty divorce and I was like, ‘I love wrestling. Let me get back into it to feel like me again.’ And because I was posting a lot of that on social media, somebody reached out and they were like, ‘Hey, do you wanna be a part of this?’

Kaitlyn Hints Whether AJ Lee Would Return to the WWE

I started training really hard for it because I’m like, ‘I’m not gonna go back and suck a$$’ and so, I train all summer for it. The thing is with WWE, if you are associated with them, it’s such a huge commitment and I have a business and a ton of other stuff going on so, couldn’t necessarily commit to a 300-day-a-year type of schedule.

But to go back and do this one-off, I think I was there for a week and doing press and all that stuff, which is cool to be back in that world again and it’d be on my terms.”

Fans of Kaitlyn do believe that she will be back for a full-time role in the WWE in the near future. She has all the tools for what it takes to be a future Women’s Champion. But for now, it’s not happening and they have to be satisfied with the stunning social media pictures of her, only.
