The main event of this week’s RAW witnessed WWE Champion Drew McIntyre competing against Angel Garza while Austin Theory, United States Champion Andrade and Zelina Vega were at ringside.
The champ did have a 3-on-1 disadvantage, but he ultimately managed to topple the heel superstars with a huge fly over the top rope. Following his pendant Claymore Kick, McIntyre pinned Garza to pick up the win.

Once the match was over, Drew McIntyre would again hit Claymore Kicks on Theory and Garza to pose like the WWE United States Champion to conclude the show. Drew wanted to mock Andrade with his lying pose in the ring but eventually, he ended up mimicking an iconic pose of WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels.
It was soon pointed out by former WWE Superstar Mike Kanellis as Drew McIntyre was imitating the Playgirl photoshoot by Shawn Michaels. The Scottish Psychopath soon realized what Kanellis was talking about and soon address the same on Twitter. He tagged in Shawn Michaels to the reply and the Heart Break Kidd ended up responding, as well.

In the past, several WWE, as well as other company’s wrestlers, have tried to recreate the photoshoot of Shawn Michaels, be it NXT’s Roderick Strong or NJPW’s Will Ospreay.
Drew McIntyre can be considered as the latest addition to this list although he didn’t intend to do so. The unique thing about this unintended pose was that he was caught on TV rather than being in an actual photoshoot.

Drew McIntyre also shares a similarity with Shawn Michaels. This year, he outlasted 29 other men in the Royal Rumble and headed to WrestleMania 36 to win his first WWE Championship.
Michaels did the same to make his ‘boyhood dreams come true’. Moving forward, McIntyre is now confirmed to defend his WWE Championship at 2020 Money in the Bank PPV event. Seth Rollins will challenge him for the title.
