Both Monday Night Raw and Smackdown Live will go through major changes to celebrate a fresh start with the season premiere episodes. Although not officially confirmed, the former WCW franchise will likely be present on the debut show on FOX on October 4th. Besides the bygone altercation with Dolph Ziggler might have been the reason that could drag him back on TV and perhaps include in a storyline angle, as well.

Although Goldberg destroyed Dolph Ziggler at SummerSlam 2019, it looks like their feud isn’t over. They have crossed paths in recent times that almost broke into a fight in Las Vegas. After the incident, Goldberg posted the video of the incident with the following caption,

“What happens in Vegas obviously doesn’t stay in Vegas! ? My usual stop at @andiamolv to see @richardwilk and @bellatormma @roynelsonmma came with an unexpected surprise. Looks like @heelziggler and I still don’t see eye to eye! Fortunately for him, I wasn’t still hungry! AND @ufc ‘s @erykanders was there to help him get away!!! #spear #jackhammer #whosnext”

Dolph Ziggler replied him back with a tweet that kept the heat going on between the two of them. Now a reliable source hinted that it may have been a ‘work’ just to give a reason to the legend to appear on TV, next week. According to PWInsider.com, the fighting angle in Vegas happened to do a segment between Goldberg & Ziggler on either next week’s RAW (which is going to be the Season Premier) or SmackDown on FOX (which will be the 20th anniversary of the show).

As noted earlier, WWE has not officially addressed the situation and thereby the confirmation that Goldberg will be on TV, next week. So he might make a surprise appearance to please the fans. This could lead up to a future matchup at the next Saudi Arabia PPV that is set to take place on October 31st.
