Sasha Banks was not seen in wrestling capacity on SmackDown for quite a few weeks. At first, she was out from the show to record a new rap song for her cousin Snoop Dogg. It did not seem to be a big deal as WWE seemingly made a kayfabe storyline project as a reality.

Later, she was also scheduled for a match against Lacey Evans which was wiped out due to another worked injury angle on SmackDown. It barred her from getting physical, the next week. Now Sasha Banks remained absent from the Women’s Royal Rumble match which raised eyebrows of the fans. It may be pointing out another period of time-off for the former RAW Women’s Champion.

Fightful Select reported that they have confirmed with two sources that Sasha Banks is dealing with an injury. She is not medically cleared to compete but the exact spot and severity of the injury are not known, at this point. The Boss actually hasn’t wrestled since January 3rd.

“When asking why Sasha Banks wasn’t in tonight’s Royal Rumble, Fightful was informed that Sasha Banks wasn’t cleared to compete. She’s not wrestled since January 3.
