Latest Update On Matt Hardy And His WWE Departure 1

With every appearance of Matt Hardy on WWE Raw, we can’t help but thinking that it might have been the final time we have seen him on TV. Previously, it was thought that the vicious attack of Randy Orton on the veteran, two weeks ago was a way to write him off the TV. However, that was not the case as WWE scheduled him for another No Holds Barred match on this week’s episode of the flagship show.

Matt Hardy Responds WWE Not Considering Him Top Talent Anymore

WWE Always In Talks With The Rock For A Wrestlemania Match

The match did not take place as he was injured, per the storyline and Randy Orton went on to attack him, again with a steel chair in hand. There’s no update on whether it was the last time that we have seen him on TV but his exit from the WWE is almost confirmed.

Matt Hardy is 45-years-old, but he’s in great shape. His WWE contract seems to be running up without any effort on his part to stay with the company.

Matt Hardy is a 45-year-old superstar but he is in great shape and plans to continue his tenure for some more years. His WWE contract will be running up, shortly as there’s no effort on his part to stay with the company.
Vince McMahon did not approve Matt Hardy’s creative ideas which are the main reason behind the upcoming departure. Otherwise, WWE was well on board to keep him in a job, offering a lot of money.

Mike Johnson confirmed on PW Insider Elite audio that Matt Hardy hasn’t signed a new WWE deal, yet. Logically, there’s a chance that he may renew the deal but practically it won’t happen. It’s not an issue with the money but the creative ideas,

“The reality is this: if WWE wants someone to stay they have the financial means to pay them and say, ‘Listen we’re gonna give you more money than you ever thought you’d make in your whole life if we think you’re that valuable.’ What I’ve heard about Hardy is that the money isn’t that much of an issue. He doesn’t want to get paid to sit around and do nothing and he doesn’t want to be an enhancement guy. So, really that’s you know that’s where AEW or another place like that existing is such a positive thing for pro wrestling.”

So now Matt Hardy could be looking at making a jump to sign with another company like All Elite Wrestling where his ideas will be appreciated as the WWE contract runs out. The elder Hardy should be confident enough about doing big outside WWE as he’s done this before. So he might not have problems to do it again outside the big league.
