Review & Twitter Reactions From This Week’s Smackdown Live: December 4, 2018 1

Smackdown came up with a way better episode in comparison to this week’s WWE Raw. There were some actual contents on the show to look forward to. Furthermore, it managed to create a buildup for WWE TLC which was almost ineffective on the flagship show. Paige hosted opening segment just to sell the upcoming women’s main event match at WWE TLC. The contract signing segment was filled up with some really good lines to invest the fans into the show.

Charlotte Flair and Asuka were not able to coexist in a follow-up match which was evident. This will heat up the rivalry among the three participants of the match before TLC finally arrives. Going from the championship contract signing, we should move on to another gem talking segment i.e. Miz TV. Daniel Bryan has been the absolute best as a heel on Smackdown. He continued to prove his ability with the mic, throughout.

He talked on the show just to play with the fans’ emotions. They were devotees to the YES movement since day one. Now Daniel Bryan is blasting the fans for supporting him with those stupid YES chants! That itself is the most insulting thing for the fans who showered the new Daniel Bryan with a chorus of boos. Even if AJ Styles interrupted, we could barely get over from the nasty comments delivered on Miz TV.

As if that was not enough of his rant, he came back with a dose of more heel comments on Smackdown main event. His verbal altercations with Byron Saxton were so good at times that barred us to focus in the ongoing match. An after-match attack was also there for AJ Styles where he might have picked an injury. This storyline could play a crucial angle in their WWE TLC championship match.

Another sensitive part from this week’s Smackdown was Samoa Joe’s personal comments to Jeff Hardy. Most of us are aware of the alcohol-addicted past of the Charismatic Enigma. At one point, it almost ended his career. Bringing this fact out at the point of Hardy’s 20th career anniversary is disgusting, indeed. Joe was at his best with the mic again trying to take the upper hand against Hardy.

The other matches were entertaining as well on Smackdown although we missed the presence of Rey Mysterio. Here’re the Twitter reactions from this week’s show,
