The OCs continued to target the dual champions of the flagship show on a regular basis. WWE Raw opened with a contract signing segment between Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman for the title match at Clash of Champions. WWE United States Champion AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson soon interrupted. They sounded unhappy how Strowman received a shot at the Universal Title at the PPV event. Even Roode and Ziggler do not deserve a tag team title shot since they barely call themselves a legit team.

The OCs then tore up the signing contract leading to a brawl where Ziggler and Roode also came out to join the heel. Gallows-Anderson hit the Magic Killer on Strowman whereas Styles hit Phenomenal Forearm on Rolling to ruin the segment. But WWE Raw confirmed we’ll have a bigger version next week when Stone Cold Steve Austin will moderate the contract signing between Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman. It takes place at the Madison Square Garden Arena.

The main event scenario on WWE Raw has been quite interesting for the past couple of weeks. Braun Strowman was always ready to challenge Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship after coming back after Summerslam. While we thought, WWE would announce him to be the new number one contender for the Clash of Champions against Rollins, a big twist arrived in the storyline.
Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman became WWE Raw tag team champions taking the belts away from Gallows-Anderson. So they will have to defend their Raw Tag Team Titles against Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode before battling each other over The Beastslayer’s Universal Championship. This is quite a weird situation for the two superstars which WWE.com noted prior to the show,
“That puts the pair in the extremely complicated position of having to combat a team nobody knows much about, while also having to feel each other out in advance of a fight for Raw’s ultimate prize. For each man to get what he wants will take a true display of four-dimensional chess. Time will tell whose mind is up to the task.”

Their differences were clearly intact heading into Clash of Champions with The OCs always lurking in from the back. It will be interesting to see what happens when Stone Cold Steve Austin moderates their unfinished contract signing.
