The 35th edition of Wrestlemania 35 is in the history books of WWE setting new records. On April 7th, more than 80000 people gathered at the MetLife Stadium to create a new crowd capacity in the history of live sports entertainment. Also, WWE made a revenue of more the $15 million which is way more than the previous episodes of the ‘show of shows’. Now, we start the countdown for the next one i.e. Wrestlemania 36 that emanates from the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Florida.

Officials keeping WWE couple intentionally separate

At this time, WWE has predicted five of the marquee matches that should headline Wrestlemania 36. The top superstars will be back into the equation whereas we could certainly expect the women and young superstars to reach the main-event level, as well. With that being said, we start from the Universal Championship picture as Finn Balor returns to this capacity. We should mention that he was the first-ever champion with the red-strapped belt and never lost it.

Moving to the Smackdown brand, WWE hints that he will soon move into the Championship picture to headline Wrestlemania 36. Speaking of a champion brings us to the former Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar who lost his belt to Seth Rollins. Brock Lesnar has featured in title matches for the past three occasions of the ‘showcase of immortals’. So he might move to a different capacity in the next edition.

Former MMA competitor and current NXT superstars Matt Riddle wanted to face and retire Brock Lesnar for a long time. So why not make this dream match happen at Wrestlemania 36? Talking about a dream, another NXT superstar, Velveteen Dream talked about facing John Cena in a ‘fantasy warfare becomes reality’ contest. He guaranteed the fans that this match is happening. We guess Wrestlemania 36 is the best time to host this.

As for the women’s division main event, WWE indicated the WWE Four Horsewomen (Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks & Bayley) vs. MMA Four Horsewomen. (Ronda Rousey, Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir) is happening. The plans were to plants seeds for this match at this year’s Wrestlemania. But Ronda’s injury may have shelved the plan. But you never say never when it comes to WWE.

Finally, the main event of Wrestlemania 36 should witness The Rock returning against his own brother Roman Reigns. This is yet another dream contest that stopped from happening on a couple of occasions. Rock’s busy Hollywood schedule is the sole reason behind this. With the biggest event of the year returning to his home state of Florida, could he be coming back for this mega match? Only time will tell.
