We have not seen top WWE Raw superstar Drew McIntyre on the flagship show, this week. It was also quite surprising to see him getting eliminated from King of the Ring tournament at an earlier point. The latest update on the physical condition perhaps cleared the air as to why his push came to an end.

WWE Raw will now have down with Drew McIntyre who will be sitting on the sidelines for sometimes. As reported by PWInsider.com, the Scottish Psychopath is currently dealing with an injury and keeping him out of action. “The belief is that both sides wanted him to get the surgery done and out of the way with the hope that McIntyre will be ready and healthy going into WWE TV in October in order to start the build towards WrestleMania 36 season next year. As of this writing, there’s no exact word on when he’ll return to action but it was noted that he will make a return as soon as WWE doctors clear him. This could come as soon as next week’s set of TV shows.”

Before the injury scare broke out around Drew McIntyre, there have been talks of a full-fledged feud between him and Cedric Alexander. These two featured in various segments around last month’s Summerslam hinting the same. A match against Alexander was likely to happen at the next WWE PPV, which is Clash of Champions. But the officials had to nix those plans following the injury suffered by McIntyre.
