Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte is reportedly growing frustrated with the lack of effort from the club’s upper management to sign his desired transfer targets. Spurs manager targeted four key players to boost up for the top-four position race but the club failed to deliver. In fear of losing Antonio Conte mid-season, Spurs management is now looking to push for Juventus duo Alvaro Morata and Dejan Kulusevski.
It was an unpleasant Friday for Tottenham Hotspur manager and fans as they saw their key targets Adama Traore joining Barcelona and Luiz Diaz joining rivals Liverpool. Before that, earlier this month, another potential target Philippe Coutinho joined Aston Villa on loan and Franck Kessie rejected their approach to stay with AC Milan.
This clearly states a lack of effort and commitment by upper management to strengthen the club that is challenging for the top-four finish. Now Lillywhites are pushing for quality reinforcements to salvage something out of this disappointing transfer window, before the Monday transfer deadline.
Tottenham Hotspur Target Juventus Pair Alvaro Morata And Dejan Kulusevski:
According to reputed journalists Fabrizio Romano and Alfredo Pedulla, Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus are in advanced talks over a loan deal for Dejan Kulusevski. Juventus are looking to sell the 21-year-old Swedish winger to balance the books at Turin after their £62 million signing Dusan Vlavocic from Fiorentina yesterday.

Spurs technical director Fabio Paratici, who signed Kulusevski for Juventus in 2020, is negotiating a deal to bring the player to North London. Tottenham Hotspur have made a loan offer that includes full wages plus a £25 million mandatory buy-clause in summer but the Old Lady are demanding a £33 million mandatory buy-clause fee for their midfielder. Spurs are expected to accept their counter-offer as rivals Arsenal are also in contention to sign Dejan Kulusevski.
The 29-year-old Spanish striker, Alvaro Morata, who is on loan from Atletico Madrid, is looking for a Juventus exit this month after falling out with manager Massimiliano Allegri. Now Serie A giants will be open to the idea of terminating the Morata loan deal as they have enough attacking options with Dusan Vlahovic’s arrival at Allianz Arena.
Antonio Conte worked with Alvaro Morata during his Chelsea stint and Tottenham Hotspur are looking to sign the Spanish international before the Monday transfer deadline. According to the Mirror, Spurs are willing to pay £30 million for the former Real Madrid star, but face competition from Barcelona who are still leading the race for Morata.
