We have not spotted Brock Lesnar on WWE programming since his loss at WrestleMania 36. He dropped the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre in the main event of WrestleMania 36 – Night 2. McIntyre became the seventh (after John Cena, Triple H, The Undertaker, Goldberg, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins) only WWE Superstar to pin The Beast after hitting him with 4 Claymore Kicks.

If the recent reports are any indications then it seems like Brock Lesnar won’t be back anytime soon, either. Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com informed that “it would be a waste to use Lesnar in this environment”. Since the month of March, WWE is being forced to conduct shows without an audience that is inside the closed-set WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. So the biggest attraction isn’t needed, at this point.

It was also noted by the source that the advocate general for Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman might hype up his return, when WWE would like to begin his next feud, eventually. But there’s no update on when that could happen in this time of uncertainty. So, basically, it turns out to be just another break for The Conqueror which is pretty usual, going by his previous WrestleMania schedules.

Update On When Brock Lesnar Could Return To WWE Programming 3

Brock Lesnar is a huge crowd puller and hence he is used for the four bigger pay-per-view events of the WWE. (WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Royal Rumble, and Survivor Series) So he isn’t obviously needed for now when there’s no crowd in the WWE shows. It is likely that he will probably attend the next big pay-per-view event, SummerSlam 2020 in August considering that he’s worked all of the SummerSlam events since his return in 2012.

But it’s yet to be confirmed whether the biggest party of the summer will indeed take place as per schedule, at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusettes amid Coronavirus pandemic. In case, it gets hosted without an audience, chances will be less, WWE brings back Brock Lesnar.

It should also be noted that WWE will be negotiating a new deal with Brock Lesnar around his return. As of now, he’s only under an image rights deal with the company, right now.
