Flashback video: WWE Superstar Ronda Rousey Breaks Ribs Of TV Presenter
Ronda Rousey is known as the ‘baddest woman on the planet’ for a reason and you surely don’t want to intimidate her for no reason. WWE stars like Stephanie McMahon, Alexa Bliss and more learned this in a hard way during her prime time on Monday Night Raw and so did TV presenter Aaron Tru during an interview. He doubted her caliber of fighting a male person and was taught a lesson, immediately.
Tru spoke to Ronda Rousey during an interview for MMA Prime in 2015 when he doubted whether the UFC Hall of Famer has enough guts to face men athletes. The interviewer received his answer immediately as Ronda delivered a powerful judo throw that broke his ribs.
One of the most influential figures for women in the history of combat sports was not happy to hear the words that she “doesn’t have enough strength and can’t compete with a man.” Admittedly, it had lit a fire in her belly, saying that it was “exactly how to push my buttons.” So she instantly proved the doubter wrong by planting him to the floor with a devastating judo throw.
Aaron Tru, the presenter was seen lying motionless on the floor and gasping for air for sometimes after digesting the move. He was also visibly in pain confirming the damage done to his body. Ronda Rousey initially laughed after the judo move, but her reaction changed after Tru claimed that he might suffer a broken ribcage after the bad landing courtesy of the throw on the floor. MMA fans were happy to see Tru receiving a lesson for his immature words to a sportswoman who has broken barriers throughout her entire career.
Later, Ronda Rousey showed her daring skills in WWE, as well by taking out men stars like Triple H and security guards on different occasions. As of now, she is out from the scene for an indefinite timespan.
WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon spoke with Ben Wignall of GiveMeSport in recent times and confirmed that Ronda Rousey will eventually come back,
