WWE Title Match
Bobby Lashley vs. Drew McIntyre (c)
McIntyre had the Kimura Lock on Lashley who came back with a big Spear. Lana came out at ringside at this point and tried to distract the referee. Drew shoved Lashley into Lana, almost. The distraction then allowed McIntyre to hit a Glasgow Kiss Headbutt on Lashley who hit Lana accidentally. She fell on MVP outside the ring. McIntyre followed up with the Claymore Kick on Lashley to retain his title at Backlash.

Edge vs. Randy Orton
Orton hit an RKO in the main event of Backlash on Edge who kicked out of it. Edge then countered with two big Spears but was unable to have the pinfall. Edge went to the middle turnbuckle but Orton then hit an RKO off the second rope but Edge still kicked out of that. Edge then locked in the standing submission on Orton who hit a low blow which the referee didn’t see. Orton then hit the Punt Kick on Edge to secure the win and end the show.
