It was previously reported by Tom Colohue that Vince McMahon was not in favor of having Brock Lesnar vs. Drew McIntyre to become the main event match of WrestleMania 36. He has always favored the franchise player of the company, Roman Reigns when it comes to the marquee spotlight at the show of shows. So after a one year gap, this man will get back his usual spot.

How Roman Reigns Vs. The Fiend Will End At WWE WrestleMania 36?
Colohue’s report stated the following confirming Roman Reigns to receive the fifth WrestleMania main event of his career,
“WWE sources have made it clear to me that Paul Heyman is campaigning heavily to have McIntyre main event WrestleMania.
Vince McMahon’s preference for the event’s main event is still believed to be Roman Reigns vs Bray Wyatt.”
Big Title Change Expected Before WWE WrestleMania 36?
In an update to this, Wrestling Observer has now noted the current Executive Director Paul Heyman has talked with Vince McMahon regarding WrestleMania 36 main event. The source is reporting that Heyman has been pushing for Brock Lesnar vs. Drew McIntyre to close out WrestleMania 36. Probably, Vince has granted his wish as this match is now scheduled to be the last match of the card.
It’s pretty wise to do so at a time when WWE is pushing hard to make new superstars going through this new decade. Drew McIntyre is being portrayed as the top new babyface of the flagship show who must overcome the prime heel in the form of Brock Lesnar to cement his status. Roman Reigns, on the other hand, does not necessarily need another main event win to solidify his legacy.
