Extreme Rules ended in the most shocking fashion when the beats incarnate found his way back into the WWE. Brock Lesnar made Paul Heyman’s spoiler true by showing up at the very end of the show and leave as the new Universal Champion. Prior to that, Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch went toe-to-toe against Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans in the main event. Lacey tries to woo Rollins only to get some kendo stick shots from Becky.

Once she was out of the ring, Corbin attacked Seth Rollins with a Deep Six only for Becky Lynch to break up the pinfall attempt. The Universal Champion fought back and gave some chair shots to Corbin before connecting with three Carb Stomps to pick up the win. But sooner, Brock Lesnar showed up to hit German Suplexes on the champion. He asked the referee to ring the bell and executed an F-5 to pin Rollins. Thus, he shocked the world by picking up the red-strapped title, once again.
Huge Update On Summerslam 2019 Appearance Of The Undertaker
Earlier, WWE planned to schedule a rematch on Extreme Rules main event between Seth Rollins and Baron Corbin. The advertisements from the host arena hinted the match is happening with an added stipulation. But WWE Universe would have no interest in seeing the same match that they’re seeing for the past two pay-per-views. Hence, Becky Lynch took entry to the scene besiding with her boyfriend to set up this exciting tag team match, (courtesy WWE.com)
“Evans and Corbin attacked The Man and her man the following night on Raw before challenging them to a Mixed Tag Team Match at WWE Extreme Rules. Rollins and Lynch accepted on the condition that they will never again have to see their adversaries in the ring together if they win the match. Corbin & Evans agreed to the stipulation, provided that the Universal and Raw Women’s Titles would be on the line.”

Now the odds were absolutely not in the favor of the champions at Extreme Rules. If anyone between Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch suffers pinfall or submission loss then both of them would lose the titles. Plus, No-DQ rules match always gives upper-hand to the villains since they try to take the cheap way to reach victory point. Lastly, it was Brock Lesnar who was always lurking for a MITB cash-in and became successful to end the night becoming new Universal Champion.
