Lacey Evans was up against a rookie on last night’s WWE Raw to showcase her skills. She even called out the Money in the Bank women’s competitors to show her moves from the arsenal. Ultimately it was an easy win which Becky Lynch tried to spoil by showing up. Lacey competed in the match against a woman named Ali Katrina to hit a bronco-buster. A Women’s Right followed to her to hand over the win to the number one contender for women’s championship.
A heel promo followed by Lacey Evans once the match was over as the ladies surrounding the ring had to listen to that. But Becky Lynch quickly came out and went into a physical brawl right where these two left it out, last week. The champion prevailed in this brawl as she went to lock in the dis-arm-her. The Lady had to escape the scene who was up for a retreat.
The rivalry over WWE Raw women’s championship has been pretty impressive for Money in the Bank. We could barely think of a worthy opponent for Becky Lynch who came out of Wrestlemania as a dual champion in the WWE. But Lacey Evans justified to the role of the number one contender via a massive push from the storyline angles. She indeed proved herself to be ‘The Lady’ in ‘The Man’s’ world, (courtesy WWE.com)
“Evans has some honest-to-goodness wind in her sails heading into her Raw Women’s Championship Match, and with it the chance to take advantage of the chaos and claim one of the Irishwoman’s treasures for her own. The Man, meanwhile, finds herself with a challenger she may have underestimated, or at the very least misjudged. And given that Charlotte Flair has been getting the better of Lynch on the blue side, Becky No Belts is a very real possibility.”
It was last week when Lacey Evans dare to run towards Becky Lynch from the front and creating a brawl on WWE Raw. Evans did come up with this daredevil stunt that needed the entire security team to come up to separate them. With that being said, we expected to see the continuation of the interesting storyline between them on WWE Raw. This time around, the WWE Raw and Smackdown women’s champion was able to teach her a lesson that was much-needed.
