Why Brock Lesnar Is Not Coming Back To UFC?

Earlier news has stated that Brock Lesnar was about to call it a day for his pro-wrestling career in 2020. He was potentially considering to hang up his boots for good by wrestling in one last match at Wrestlemania 36. But those chances exist no more as he penned down a new deal with the WWE to stay around for multiple years to follow.

In an exclusive report by wwfoldschool.com, Brock Lesnar has signed a new contract with the WWE which will keep him with the company until 2022. He is likely to perform only for WWE and not in any MMA competitions following the retirement announcement from UFC. It was UFC President Dana White himself who revealed that Brock Lesnar won’t be returning to the UFC as he has decided not to compete inside the Octagon, ever again.

This frees the future dates for the beast incarnate but we should not expect him to work in a regular WWE schedule. He will continue making sporadic appearances just like he uses to do during his current stint that began back in 2012. Only bigger PPV matches will be able to make him compete or appear on weekly TV schedules.

The source has mentioned a report carried by Slice Wrestling which noted why Brock Lesnar intends to stay with the WWE in the future,

“One of the reasons why Lesnar decided to retire from MMA is the fact that he’s already making huge money in WWE with very little work, so training very hard and going to UFC for a devastating loss (which most likely would’ve been the case) for money similar to what he’s making in WWE wasn’t worth doing for The Beast Incarnate.”

Plus, Vince McMahon also believes that Brock Lesnar will play a big role in making Smackdown move to FOX a success. The future host of the show demands high TV ratings which Lesnar would be able to pull off by making appearances. But for now, the biggest box office attraction is all set to compete in the next match of his career which happens at Saudi Arabia show emanating from Jeddah on June 7th.
