WWE universe got to witness a historic moment on last night’s Smackdown as two legends confronted inside the ring. The Undertaker made a surprise return on the blue brand to face Goldberg delivering a preview of Super ShowDown. Initially, WWE hyped up the episode from Laredo, Texas with the debut attendance from Goldberg. He has never appeared on the blue brand of WWE, prior to this. This time around, he had a really awkward entrance without his pyro.

Alexa Bliss Vs. Bayley Title Match Confirmed For Stomping Grounds
The Myth stood inside the ring to talk about the dream match against The Undertaker which is happening after a long wait of two decades. He would then go on to quote his opponent saying that The Deadman will Rest in Peace when the Gong hit the arena. The Undertaker was standing right behind to go face-to-face with him. The light went out one more time as the Phenome would vanish from the ring to give us chills. Thus the mind-game from The Undertaker gives him a slight upper-hand heading into Super ShowDown.
The hype around Super ShowDown main event began on last night’s episode of WWE Raw. The Undertaker appeared on the show to deliver one hell of a chilling message to his opponent. He warned that the first match against The Deadman might turn out to be the last one for Goldberg. But he seemed ready to give back a suitable answer to The Phenome. Hence, WWE.com confirmed his debut on Smackdown.
“Three days before his highly anticipated matchup against The Undertaker at Super ShowDown, WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg will journey to SmackDown LIVE for the first time ever this coming Tuesday!
The former Universal Champion hasn’t set foot in a WWE ring since the night after he battled Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 33. It does not go unnoticed that Goldberg is choosing to appear on SmackDown, the brand with which The Phenom has long been associated. What are Goldberg’s intentions and what will his rare appearance mean for his once-in-a-lifetime clash with The Deadman next Friday?”
Now, we should note that the host arena revealed a spoiler much earlier that Smackdown went on the air. They revealed on the social media page that The Undertaker was going to be on the show, as well. The advertisements from Laredo, Texas contained the Phenome as well hinting that we might be getting a face-to-face confrontation between the two legends. So the capacity became much higher for the show and the audience did not return home, empty-handed.
