The Bella Twins aka Nikki Bella and Brie Bella are two of the most popular superstars in the entire WWE Universe. Starting from the Divas era in the last decade, they have rules the women’s division for the last several years. Plus, Nikki Bella has been the main event of the first-ever women’s PPV named Evolution against Ronda Rousey last year that was a tremendous accolade for a pro-wrestler.

As reported earlier, this main event match was perhaps the last time that we have seen The Bella Twins competing in a match. Both have announced retirement from the active in-ring competition when the Total Bellas season 4 came to an end on the E Network. However, do they have a chance to make a comeback? The did hint an answer on their exclusive podcast.

Nikki Bella and Brie Bella have hosted the recent edition of the Bellas podcast to talk about the retirement, reason behind the announcement and the fallouts from the same. Nikki was the one to reveal the reason why she retired from in-ring professional wrestling competition. But her twin sister fuelled up the question again whether she might make a comeback.

Speaking of the retirement, Nikki Bella said she was happy to hear the positive reactions from the fans. This might be the only reason that she’d want to make a comeback. But then again, she has to care of her body at the age of 35. Plus, taking care of her brands like Belle Radici Wine, Birdiebee Clothing Line, Nicole, and Brizee Beauty products will not allow her to wrestle again.

Additionally, the longest reigning Divas Champion eluded to the fact that coming back for Evolution was difficult since she was still dealing with the trauma of missing John Cena after the break-up. Hence, turning heel against Ronda Rousey helped a lot. Here’re the comments from Nikki Bella from the Bellas Podcast,

“Having the comeback, filming Total Bellas, running three companies, and then fighting Ronda Rousey and beating up my body.

I just remember when we were sitting there on our 35th birthday. I just sat there and said to myself that I was done. I started thinking about my health and my age. I need to put more focus on my companies, so honestly, that was the reason why I retired. This is the thing about WWE though; the doors are truly never closed.”

As you can see Nikki Bella fans still can hope to see her back into competition if the situation is right. They will most probably be gunning for the women’s tag team championships for one last time.
