WWE News: Roman Reigns Competed In A Handicap Match On Smackdown

The McMahons could not stop throwing curve-balls on Roman Reigns on Smackdown. The poster boy of the company entered the blue brand during the Superstar Shakeup. WWE dubbed that as the biggest acquisition of the brand in the history who picked up the bad blood confronting Vince McMahon. He hit The Boss right into the mouth with a Superman Punch landing on the bad books of the show-runners as the fallout continued on the show.

Roman Reigns appeared on Smackdown last night to address the same attack on Vince McMahon from two weeks ago. Shane McMahon could not resist but to come out on the show to interrupt the promo. He informed the ring announcer Greg Hamilton to introduce himself as the “The Best in the World”. He also talked about prepping for his scheduled Money in the Bank matchup against The Miz with the help of a trainer from Michigan.

But first, he needed to punish Roman Reigns on Smackdown for his sin of attacking “The Best in the World’s” father. So he placed The Big Dog in a 1-on-2 Handicap Match against the two new additions on the roster. Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel found themselves in a relevant matchup going up against the former Universal Champion. Plus, Shane McMahon added a special guest referee into the match who’s none other than Elias.

The Money in the Bank opponent of Roman Reigns obviously did not count properly during the match to prohibit him from the win. He even sent Reigns shoulder-first into the corner trying to cost him the matchup. But the man on a mission floored him with a superman punch and two more such on The B-Team. Thereafter, a super double-spear followed on the duo. An alternate referee entered the ring to count and hand over the win to Roman Reigns.

As reported earlier, Roman Reigns will compete at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view against Elias. This man is the new favorite of the McMahon clan and the task-in-hand for the franchise player of the company will not be an easy one. Elias will try to pick up the win in this particular match which could be the biggest if his career.
