WWE News: Spoiler On Two Championship Matches At Money In The Bank 2019

Wrestlemania 35 was the biggest pay per view event of the year in WWE which came with a spectacle experience for the fans. With this event being in the history books of the company, now the time is to move forward to the next WWE Network special show waiting for us in May. Although not confirmed, it should be the Money in the Bank event within six weeks of time.

Revealed: Women superstars who will change brands at Superstar Shakeup

New feud awaits Roman Reigns on tonight

WWE’s current PPV booking lists Money in the Bank as the post-Wrestlemania event on May 17th at the XL Center Hartford, Connecticut. So all the storylines from both WWE Raw and Smackdown should be heading towards this. Most of the championship storylines will kick-off once the Superstar Shakeup gets over on April 15th and 16th episodes.

But prior to that Dave Meltzer revealed some insider scoops for the fans. He revealed the prime championship matches that’d be waiting for us at Money in the Bank pay per view. Seth Rollins is the current Universal Champion who will have to defend the championship on the May 19th show against a Scottish Psychopath. (via ringsidenews.com)

“Dave Meltzer mentioned on Wrestling Observer Radio that Drew McIntyre vs Seth Rollins also looks to be the match that WWE is going with. There is still time for WWE to change things, but McIntyre has been in the wings for a while waiting on a big push.”

This might not make the fans happy as they have already seen this lineup for a long time on WWE Raw. But if Drew McIntyre does not change his brand at Superstar Shakeup, this is the title matchup that we’ll see.

As for the Women’s Championship, Becky Lynch holds both the titles from Raw and Smackdown since Wrestlemania 35. She’ll have her first title defense against Lacey Evans, as per the source. It does not come as a big surprise since these two have already got into a storyline following Wrestlemania that should culminate at Money in the Bank.

As for the other feuds, Roman Reigns will be in a feud against Baron Corbin as per Slice Wrestling. So these two should compete in a match. Also, the WWE Championship held by Kofi Kingston will also be on the line at Money in the Bank, although his opponent is still unknown.
