Charlotte Flair demanded another championship opportunity on this past episode of Smackdown Live from Becky Lynch. As we all know, the champion has made history on this year’s Wrestlemania main event, by pinning Ronda Rousey. This helped her to pick up two championships at a time earning the new nickname of Becky Two Belts around the WWE Universe.

How Becky will make history at MITB 2019?
Coming back to the point of Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch never pinned or submitted her to become the new champion. This automatically gives her a championship rematch as per her claims. Even the WWE Creative team agrees with her which is why the rematch is now official at the Money in the Bank pay per view over the Smackdown women’s championship.
Now, most of the WWE Universe members would not agree with WWE’s decision to book Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch for the umpteenth time over the span of a year. These two do have great in-ring chemistry with each other but that could not be another excuse to sit through another potential lengthy matchup from them. It is also unfair to the other fresh talents who barely gets TV time, to say the least.
Veteran pro-wrestler backed up WWE’s decision to make Charlotte Flair the new number one contender for the Smackdown women’s championship. Per him, there are no such championship caliber female names present on Smackdown to challenge Becky Lynch, yet. So it is better to keep them away from the title picture than to ruin their status with an abrupt loss.
Here’re the actual comments from Storm in a report carried by prowrestling.com,
“She’s probably just going to the pay-per-view to lose again to Becky. If that is the case, it’s like, so do you want to take Ember Moon, someone who hasn’t had that run yet on top in WWE and beat her in her first match, just because well, we don’t want Charlotte in that spot again? It’s like they want everything they want the second they want it and they think they understand enough and obviously this is a vocal minority, I’m not saying everybody’s this dumb.”
Recent reports though do not support Storm’s words as Charlotte Flair is the current favorite to win at Money in the Bank. Becky Lynch will be pulling double duty on this upcoming PPV and most probably lose to Flair to move to the Raw brand. But this could create a backlash among the fans which may change the current plans sketched by the WWE officials.
