A strange instance occurred on this week’s episode of WWE Raw as we have not spotted a single woman appearing on the show. This is for the first time during the women’s evolution era that WWE stacked up the show sans the female superstars of the roster.
The only time we witnessed a woman was during the Bobby Lashley-Lana-Rusev love triangle segment. But this one was a pre-taped one where Lana was not in attendance on the actual live show that took place in Cleveland. Huge announcements for Crown Jewel
The fans have been wondering why WWE Raw omitted the beloved women superstars from the card. Slice Wrestling has an update on the situation who pointed out the exact reason behind this.
All the women superstars were busy traveling in Australia since last weekend. Actually, WWE scheduled the Smackdown roster to visit the country. But in reality, most of the female roster members flew with the male competitors.
Three live events took place in Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne in Australia. WWE Raw draftees Charlotte Flair, Asuka, Kairi Sane and more were seen competing on the show.
The update from the source confirmed that the women belonging to WWE Raw will return to TV next Monday night. However, it’s still not official whether the SmackDown women will be back on this Friday’s TV tapings or not.
WWE has not booked any of the women superstars for SmackDown that takes place on FS1, this week. Multiple segments have been made official to hype up the Crown Jewel PPV show featuring the men superstars.
Brock Lesnar, Cain Velasquez, Hulk Hogan, and Ric Flair will be in attendance for the go-home show in Kansas City. But the women are not required for this occasion as Crown Jewel will not be having any match containing the female superstars of either WWE Raw or SmackDown.
WWE has been trying to put the female superstars into the Saudi Arabia events’ match card for quite sometimes. But the trend has not changed as the sports authority of the country is still adamant of letting a female superstar wrestling in a match in front of a live audience. The company is still hopeful that they’ll eventually receive the green signal someday.
