WWE NXT UK Superstar Rhea Ripley could be in hot water after using a slur in a surfaced video on the web. It was streaming on Twitch platform where she was with a bunch of friends and used some inappropriate language. The internet wrestling community went absolutely outrageous with this and the superstar had to apologize to them. But her trouble may not get lifted going by the past experience of such actions’ fallouts.
The video clip surfaced on the web showed Rhea Ripley with her friends in a Twitch stream. The NXT UK superstar went on to deliver a series of cuss words that also included a homophobic slur. The video ended on an abrupt note that even astonished her friends. Even they could not believe the fact that Rhea Ripley uttered such violent words. You can only imagine how the IWC has reacted over this video footage.
The fans went outrageous about quite a popular name of the WWE pulling off such antics over one social media. Rhea Ripley had no choice but to be apologetic for her actions in that video. She posted a screenshot of previously typed messages feeling sorry for the comments. The reason for her inaccurate behavior was that she completely lost control of her.
Addressing herself with her real name of Demi Bennett, she accepted of hurting some people, unintentionally. The once Women’s Royal Rumble participant concluded saying that she believes every human being. Despite what race they belong to, every person should receive the same treatment, as per her comments. Rhea Ripley was the former NXT UK Women’s Champion in recent past before losing the belt to Toni Storm. This made her even more famous among the fans in addition to her fame as an NXT Superstar. So she should have been more cautious about using words on a video that could go public via Twitch media. But then again she admitted not being in a proper mental state. Could it decrease her future penalties? Probably, NO.
WWE punished Hulk Hogan for using racial slurs by completely banning him from the company for multiple years. That incident was so much bigger than this one featuring Rhea Ripley. But the intensity remains the same when anyone uses such slur language. We have to wait and see if WWE takes any hard step towards her in the near future.
