WWE Raw Preview (10/06/19)-Seth Rollins-Miz TV-Super Showdown Fallout
Three night after the historic Super ShowDown, WWE Raw is coming up with all the fallouts from the historic show. Some of the hardcore wrestling fans may not be happy with how the main event of the night went by. But the good news is WWE is ready to move on towards the future with another big event looming upon within less than two weeks. Buildups for the brand new PPV event named Stomping Grounds will begin from tonight as there are only two episodes remaining.
The Universal Championship picture will be the biggest concern heading into the show, as always. Seth Rollins is still the reigning champion overcoming the odds of both Brock Lesnar and Baron Corbin. The women’s champion will have to be alert as the target on her back remains the same. Also, we expect a new feud to kick off for the United States title. These and more should be on tonight’s WWE Raw that airs from the SAP Center in San Jose, California.
Seth Rollins has retained his Universal Championship against Baron Corbin at WWE Super ShowDown. But the win did not come without controversy as the referee distracted the challenger. It was not his fault fully since Corbin was trying to use a steel chair in the match. However, Corbin grabbed the issue to get a rematch.
Meanwhile, Seth Rollins had to fend off the ambush coming from Brock Lesnar, as well at Super ShowDown. Paul Heyman inadvertently helped him by tripping down to the ring and allowing Seth Rollins to capitalize. He destroyed the beast incarnate with numerous chair shots that is likely to keep the Money in the Bank 2019 winner away from WWE Raw for sometimes. So for now, WWE.com hints that the champion has his focus on Corbin, only,
“Lesnar is deterred, at least momentarily, but he never officially cashed in his Money in the Bank contract, meaning that he still has nearly a year to cash in for a World Championship opportunity at the time and place of his choosing. As The Beast licks his wounds and bides his time, Rollins looks ahead to a Universal Championship rematch against Corbin at WWE Stomping Grounds.”
WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch has already defeated Lacey Evans fair and square at Money in the Bank. But as predicted earlier, it’s a long-term feud that will continue. So, WWE.com already announced a title rematch between the two of them at Stomping Grounds. Last week, The Man delivered a man-handle slam to stand tall against the Sassy Southern Belle. Lacey does not have the upper hand, anyway since the ally with Charlotte Flairs does not exist, either. So we guess the contender will try to come up with one of her ‘nasty’ moves to make a major statement to the champion.

Samoa Joe claimed that he did not lose at Money in the Bank to Rey Mysterio (his shoulder was off the mat when the official counted three). So an injured Mysterio handed back the title to the Samoan Submission Machine on WWE Raw, last week. Now the question is which superstar will step up to the current US Champion to start a new feud. The Miz will be hosting an edition of Miz TV tonight with the US champ as the guest that may be a hint a new feud kicking off in this segment.
A new feud may also start for Braun Strowman as he has cleanly defeated Bobby with three Powerslams on Friday at WWE Super ShowDown. If Lashley seeks retribution then we may get a rematch between them at Stomping Grounds. Plus, R-Truth will be on the run to save his 24/7 Championship. Will anyone try to steal his title in a bizarre manner? We’ll find out when WWE Raw airs tonight from California.
