WWE Raw Preview (7/1/19)-John Cena, Hulk Hogan, Brock Lesnar Return, Moment Of Bliss, Championship Match

McMahons promised to bring fresh things on WWE Raw in 2019. The opening edition of WWE’s flagship show comes up tonight with a packed card indicating the things. A number of returns, championship matches, and a new talk-show are likely to make this episode a memorable affair for the fans. The main attraction of the show would be John Cena who’s coming back on the show.

WWE Hall of Famer returning tonight with Hulk Hogan

But this is not the only comeback that will take place on WWE Raw. Brock Lesnar will also show-up to begin hype-ups for Royal Rumble. His challenger, Braun Strowman will also be on the show. Plus, Hulk Hogan returns to pay tribute to the legendary Mean Gene Okerlund. WWE Raw tag team championships will be on the line whereas Moments of Bliss talk-show premieres with Ronda Rousey being the guest. All of these segments are must-watch as WWE Raw airs from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.

So Hulk Hogan finally returns on WWE Raw after a gap of more than three years. WWE could not think of better timing to bring him back to pay homage to the greatest in-ring interviewers of all time, Mean Gene Okerlund. The legend passed away last week with whom Hulk Hogan had plenty of memories. The Hulkster mentioned Gene as “the best partner I ever had” on the social media. So how would he like to make the moment look really special? We will find out tonight as he goes, “Let me tell you something, ‘Mean’ Gene …”

The franchise player returning to the company always remains a special attraction for the fans. Tonight is no different as John Cena appears as a huge rating-booster for WWE Raw. No matter what, the Cenation Leader will help to build some fresh scenarios on the flagship show. It can be something like a must-watch segment similar to that of with Becky Lynch. Or, WWE might have kept a surprise opponent in-store for John Cena. Whatever it is, we can’t wait to see the 16-time world champ back onboard.

Brock Lesnar returns to WWE Raw after a hiatus of two months, almost. WWE Universe does not seem much thrilled about this one since he will be absent again, next week. This is why Braun Strowman will also attend the show to have a confrontation. WWE.com wrote, ‘what if neither The Monster Among Men nor The Beast Incarnate wants to wait until their Universal Championship Match to throw down?’ This certainly hints of a brawl between these two superstars that will hype up the title match at Royal Rumble.

Alexa Bliss will also be present on WWE Raw to host the talk show named Moment of Bliss. She often likes to instigate people by throwing unnecessary verbal jabs. But this time, she needs to be careful as none but ‘the baddest woman on the planet’ will be her guest. It will be interesting to see how Little Miss Bliss likes to sort out her prior issues with Ronda Rousey on this talk-show.

Apart from these many segments from WWE Raw, there will be a championship match. Team Glorious Gable will defend their tag team championships against The Revival. To make the match more relevant, it will now be a Lumberjack match. The WWE Raw roster members will surround the ring indicating there could be a surprise title change.

Elias and Baron Corbin entered in a rivalry, last week. So they will have to settle out the differences in a match against the former WWE Raw acting general manager. Additionally, the host arena is advertising an Intercontinental Championship match featuring Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. But this is not likely to take place on the main show since it’s a repeated lineup. Rather it could be a dark match once WWE Raw goes off the air.
