Rey Mysterio pulled off a shocker win on this past episode of Monday Night Raw against Samoa Joe. Despite the size and strength advantage, the United States Champion could put down his opponent. Rather he got caught up in a schoolboy to suffer a clean pinfall loss. This might set up a future championship match between the two of them at Money in the Bank.

Superstar not happy about Money in the Bank
But there’s much more to the storyline which is a carry-off from Smackdown Live during Wrestlemania 35. As we have seen in the past, Rey Mysterio started the feud against Samoa Joe for Wrestlemania with his son Dominic by his side. But that match turned out to be a lackluster one due to an ankle injury suffered by the biggest little man in the history of the WWE.
The original plan was to include Dominic into the Wrestlemania contest in an additional capacity to make the outing even more interesting. Since WWE had to cancel all those writings at Wrestlemania, they might be intending to repeat it at upcoming show Money in the Bank. This is why Dominic was back on WWE Raw on this past week accompanying his father, yet again.

Mike Johnson said on PW Insider Elite audio that he is very confident that Rey Mysterio’s son Dominic may have gone through a deal with the WWE. This is the only reason why WWE is letting him appearing on either Raw or Smackdown, purposefully. They are willing to use him in the ongoing storyline between Mysterio and Joe.
Here’s the statement from Johnson, (courtesy ringsidenews.com)
“Dominic has to be signed by WWE now to a WWE deal because now he’s showing up on a regular basis so he must be signed to something.”
So there’s no surety on what role WWE may have hired Dominic to appear alongside with his father. But he is a pro wrestling aspirant which should be the most valiant reason for signing a deal with the company.
Another pro-wrestling veteran Lance Storm is the name who trained Dominic to begin his career as a pro wrestling superstar. He surely can take some bumps as well as reportedly have much more powerful moves than his father, as per the source. So it may be a matter of time that we see Rey Mysterio’s son making his WWE debut. Well, he could not ask for a better opportunity than this company.
