Starting from tonight, Smackdown Live will become Friday Night Smackdown. The presentation of the show will be completely different on the FOX platform. New logo, theme song, pyros, camera angles and more will be waiting for us to make this one the A-show from now onwards. So the card is stacked than ever for the show to make it perhaps the biggest of the year. As confirmed earlier, the beast incarnate will main-event the show challenging for the WWE Championship. The Great One will be back in WWE for the first time in three years.

Two careers will be on the line on Smackdown as Shane McMahon battles Kevin Owens in a ladder match. Roman Reigns will also be in action in a rematch from Clash of Champions against Rowan. The Four-Horsewomen of the WWE competes in a huge tag team match with the same lineup from WWE’s return to Madison Square Garden, two weeks ago. Brock Lesnar To Compete At Hell In A Cell 2019
The headliner match of Smackdown FOX premiere will feature Kofi Kingston competing against Brock Lesnar defending the WWE Championship. This is a much-anticipated match that the WWE Universe wanted to see for a very long time. Finally, it’s happening as spoilers are already out that we will crown a new champion in Lesnar. But WWE may not take a predicted route to end this match and make the beast wait a bit more to become the new WWE Champion. The rivalry will continue for weeks to come, anyway as per the future advertisements of the WWE. But it will be interesting to see whether Kofi gets a clean win over his opponent, pulling off a shocker.
FINALLY…I come back home to my @WWE universe.
This FRIDAY NIGHT, I’ll return for our debut of SMACKDOWN!

There’s no greater title than #thepeopleschamp.
And there’s no place like home.

A match with high stakes will take place on Smackdown with a huge stipulation which has become a must-see for the fans. The rivalry between Shane McMahon and Kevin Owens ends tonight with this contest where stakes are higher than ever. Both of them are putting their WWE career on the line for this one-of-a-kind ladder match. A briefcase containing their legal war documents will be hanging above the ring. Whoever grabs it first, will become the winner and thereby wave goodbye to his opponent. It is just a storyline process to keep McMahon out of context for sometimes and hence he will digest the big loss whereas Owens will move on for a fresh start.
Randy Orton Challenges The Rock In A Wrestlemania Match
Another main event match for Smackdown FOX premiere will feature the franchise player of the company, in action. WWE.com confirmed that Roman Reigns will be in action against Rowan,
“In the wake of the announcement that Daniel Bryan & Roman Reigns will battle Erick Rowan & Luke Harper at WWE Hell in a Cell, Sports Illustrated reported via Twitter that The Big Dog will go one-on-one with Rowan when Friday Night SmackDown debuts on Fox next Friday at 8/7 C. Erick Rowan & Luke Harper have caused mass destruction on the blue brand since reuniting. But who will prevail when Reigns once again squares off against the Superstar responsible for his backstage attack two months ago? And what role will Harper & Bryan ultimately play in the mix?”

As indicated above, Rowan will try to interfere in the match trying to give Rowan the advantage. But Daniel Bryan will appear as the savior here who has just transformed into a babyface. He will team up with Reign at Hell in a Cell against the Bludgeon Brothers who will stop at nothing from keeping the momentums on their side.

The rivalry among the Four-Horsewomen of WWE continues as they are up for battle in a huge tag team match. Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair will team up in an attempt to end the ongoing attacks from Sasha Banks and Bayley, as WWE has confirmed. This is a rematch from WWE Madison Square Garden’s Raw edition where the babyfaces picked up the win. Tonight, the heels are likely to steal the win and settle the score which will also give them the upper-hands before their respective bouts at Hell in a Cell.

There will be more worth the watch segments on tonight’s Smackdown as multiple legends will be appearing on the show. Names like Stone Cold Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, Sting, Ric Flair, Booker T, Lita, Mick Foley, Kurt Angle, Bill Goldberg, Trish Stratus, Mark Henry, and Jerry Lawler are official to show up. But we are likely to see surprise returns as well in the form of The Rock and John Cena who have been cornerstones for Smackdown, over the years. This would be fitting to the 20th-anniversary celebration of the show.
