WWE Smackdown Preview (14/05/19)-Kevin Owens Show, Kofi Kingston, Fatal-4-Way
Money in the Bank pay-per-view will receive the final buildup via tonight’s episode of Smackdown. WWE’s tour in the United Kingdom continues as the show emanates from the same arena of Raw. The headliner for the blue brand should be a talk-show segment. Kevin Owens Show is happening again with the WWE Champion as his special guest. With no love lost between them how these two will have a peaceful session?
Money in the Bank competitors are looking forward to picking up momentums from Smackdown in a huge fatal-4-way match. Last night, the women’s competed in a similar capacity whereas tonight the men’s division will be getting the opportunity. Furthermore, the newly debuted women’s tag team managed by Paige will be in action against Fire & Desire of Smackdown. All this and more should be in-store in a show that airs from the O2 Arena in London, England.
Kevin Owens returns with the KO Show on Smackdown after a gap of one week. WWE.com confirmed that he will call out his Money in the Bank opponent Kofi Kingston on the show,
“WWE Champion Kofi Kingston and Kevin Owens will collide for the WWE Title at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view, but first, they may … talk it out? Owens has invited Kingston to join him on The Kevin Owens Show this Tuesday on SmackDown LIVE, only five nights before their massive title match. KO and Kofi have gone through the ringer in recent weeks — will The Dreadlocked Dynamo accept Owens’ invitation? If he does what will the mood be if the two come eye-to-eye on the final stop before WWE Money in the Bank?”
These two share bad blood like nobody else after the shocking betrayal by KO from three weeks ago. So what could possibly be the result when they meet inside the ring? For sure, they will not contain themselves within a verbal war. Kofi Kingston will be hell-bent to let Owens learn a lesson as to why he should fear him. Thus, an all-out brawl must end this which may turn out to be the main event segment.
Daniel Bryan and Rowan have won the Smackdown tag team championships, last week. They will now be on a mission to make those belts look prestigious from no onwards. We may get to see new eco-friendly belts for the tag titles just like Bryan’s former WWE Championship. Also, we must learn who their opponents turn out to be at Money in the Bank. A marquee name like Bryan should not miss the upcoming pay-per-view event.
The Money in the Bank competitors will lock horns in a huge fatal-4-way match on Smackdown. Intercontinental Champion Finn Bálor, Ali, Andrade and Randy Orton will collide in a contest that happens in a No-DQ capacity. So these four are likely to go all-out to pick up much-needed momentums for the opportunistic ladder match. It will be interesting to see which one gets the win, though just six days prior to the match.
Last week, Paige gave a piece of breaking news for her former stable-mates, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. These two were constantly teasing her for managing the new tag team of Asuka and Kairi Sane. They will finally get the chance to prove their worth by going up against the babyface team. At this point, the two Japanese ladies are in the middle of a winning streak which should continue on Smackdown. So they are likely to pick up another major win to go one step closer to the tag titles.
