A backstage altercation on SmackDown set up a match between Shorty G and Mojo Rawley. G won the match, quickly by hitting a big German Suplex.

The Miz and John Morrison hosted an edition of Miz TV with the special guest Mandy Rose. The host started taunting Rose forcing her to leave the ring but Sonya Deville’s music interrupted. They traded some verbal shots to each other before pouncing on each other. Rose took the upper-hand and sent Deville outside the floor. Miz stopped Rose from following and took a huge slap to the face.

The New Day vs. Lucha House Party was the next match on SmackDown where the women’s tag team champions were present in the commentary. After Metalik and Dorado hit a double Superkick on Kofi, Big E shoved them off the top turnbuckle and hit the Big Ending to pick up the win. After the match, Cesaro hit a Neutralizer on Kofi whereas Nakamura hit a Kinshasa on E to lay them down.
