Stomping Grounds is the next big event on WWE programming which takes place on this Sunday. This is a brand new show hosted on the WWE Network in the history of the pay-per-view. Unfortunately, the match card has failed to garner attention of the fans since most of them are rematches from the recent past.

Will AJ Styles Be Available To Compete At Stomping Grounds?

Shocking Return Planned For Stomping Grounds Main Event

So the ticket selling for Stomping Grounds has been extremely low. WWE may not be able to fully sell-out the show either that has a headliner of Wrestlemania rematch featuring Roman Reigns. Also, the WWE Championship and the women’s division titles will also hang in the balance on tomorrow night. The event emanates from the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington which has the following match card from the main roster. We have added predictions alongside these, too.

WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship-Daniel Bryan and Rowan (c) vs. Heavy Machinery

The Planet’s tag team champions from Smackdown has finally received their first opponent over the titles after winning those more than one month ago. Heavy Machinery is an entertaining duo who has all the tools to make it to the top. But they do not have the needed momentums or big wins on their that can set the groundwork for a title win. We don’t see Bryan and Rowan losing at Stomping Grounds.

WWE United States Title Match-Ricochet vs. Samoa Joe (c)

It’s an interesting lineup from Monday Night Raw over the United States Championship. After a long wait, the high-flying Ricochet has finally been receiving a significant singles match at Stomping Grounds. With Joe’s lackluster title reign, we do want to see a pleasant scene where Ricochet wins the title and start to make it feel prestigious, once again. Potentially, WWE also has the same plans around this title match to crown a new champion in the mid-card picture to provide a freshness to the storylines.

Big E and Xavier Woods vs. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn

This match came out of nowhere on this week’s episode of WWE Raw as Owens and Sami were constantly targeting the New Day for nothing. It does not have the feeling of a PPV match since we have already seen tag matches featuring them for a number of times. At Stomping Grounds, Owens and Sami should be the winners using their heel antics as they look forward to the main event picture once this event passes by.

Big Championship match announced for Stomping Grounds

WWE Raw Women’s Championship Match-
Lacey Evans vs. Becky Lynch (c)

This is a rematch from Money in the Bank which should witness a similar outcome. Vince McMahon is high on Lacey Evans who should be the next in line to pick up the title. However, she will have to wait for a little bit more before reaching the championship caliber. So we guess Becky will drop the belt neither at Stomping Grounds nor until Summerslam arrives.

WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship Match-
Alexa Bliss vs. Bayley (c)

This lineup is quite fresh from Smackdown. However, it’s odd at the same time as a Raw superstar will challenge the Smackdown women’s champion over the title. Being a veteran in the title picture, Alexa Bliss will definitely bring her A-game to pick up the belt. However, it does not make any sense for a Raw star to win a belt from Smackdown. So Bayley is winning at Stomping Grounds to retain.

Steel Cage Match for the WWE Championship-Dolph Ziggler vs. Kofi Kingston (c)

This match is another desperate attempt from the officials to feeds of the audience another rematch. Putting a steel cage around them will surely prevent shenanigan outside the ring. That should be well enough for Kofi to have another successful title defense at Stomping Grounds. After all, he is likely to carry the belt until Summerslam 2019.

Spoilers On Championship Changes At Stomping Grounds 2019

WWE Universal Championship Match-
Baron Corbin vs. Seth Rollins (c)
Special Guest Referee TBA

WWE Universe just can’t bear about the fact that Baron Corbin has reached the main-event picture. For two back to back PPVs, he will be challenging Seth Rollins for the title and should come up short. Spoilers available for Extreme Rules already hints that Rollins will defend on that night, too. So despite a special guest referee, Rollins will burn it down to have another successful title defense.

Reason Why WWE Did Not Announce Guest Referee For Stomping Grounds Title Match

Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre

The potential main event of the night is a Wrestlemania rematch at a point when Drew McIntyre is in a dominating mode. He just can’t lose this bout against Reigns that would harm his strong status. Hence, this time around, he is likely to come out of Stomping Grounds with his hands raised. But the rivalry will continue producing another match at Extreme Rules with an added stipulation.
