Former 14 times WWE Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston who is also a former WWE World Champion recently talked about getting to know about the plans of this week’s Monday Night RAW. He revealed that he got to know about the plans for this week’s RAW from the social media.
Last week RAW was quite special and important for a number of reasons. It was one of the most important weeks of this year so far. One of the biggest reasons of this week being important because of Big E winning the WWE Championship and ending The Almighty era. This was his first WWE Championship win, and surely many more to come.

WWE is trying to build Big E as the new face of the promotion. They were trying to boost him as the new face of the promotion for quite a long time. It is rumoured that he was Vince McMahon’s pick for winning the Royal Rumble match this year. But for some reason the push was delayed and he finally won the Money in the Bank ladder match, now the WWE Championship.
Even though it was a very important week of Monday Night RAW, it was quite poorly booked. Revealing the fact that E was going to cash in later in the night was a terrible booking we believe. And there should have been an involvement of Goldberg to cost Lashley the title. It could have been more meaningful and fans would have loved it more.
Kofi Kingston who is a former WWE World Champion recently revealed spoke to 106 KMEL where he that he got to know about the plans for this week’s RAW from the social media. He said;
“You would be surprised. Usually, as performers, we are the last one’s to find things out. This week and last week, I found out on Twitter what I was doing on Raw. It was announced I would be in an eight-man tag team match and I was like, ‘Oh, good to know. I gotta prepare.’ Same thing last week when we had the tag team turmoil, I had no idea until I looked on social media and I saw it.
“If I didn’t look on social media, I wouldn’t have known until I got to the building. Oftentimes, we have no idea what the show is going to entail or what we’re supposed to be doing. Even sometimes when we do know, it always changes. That’s the bittersweet part of being a WWE superstar.
“If you’re somebody who needs to know exactly what is happening, when it’s happening, and step for step, you’re going to be real upset working here because everything changes. I think it’s a good thing, keeps everyone on their toes.”
