Riddle Says He Did Not Like Logan Paul At WrestleMania 37

The current WWE Raw Tag Team Champion Matt Riddle who is also a former WWE United States champion recently talked about the appearance of Logan Paul at WrestleMania 37 and he said he was not a big fan of that appearance.

WWE decided to bring him back once again, this time he appeared on Monday Night RAW. He appeared as a special guest of John Morrison on the Moist TV. The reaction of the fans was extremely heated nobody wanted to see him. WWE tried to present him as a hero but things did not work at all for him. The Miz and Morrison tried their best to save the day but nothing worked.

Once again he appeared on this week’s Friday Night Smackdown, this time he was featured as the guest of Happy Corbin. This is the first time he was portrayed as a heel. Maybe WWE is trying to build him as a potential professional wrestler. Even after having such terrible reaction from the fans he kept coming back. There must be some reason behind it.

Matt Riddle who is also a former WWE United States champion recently spoke with Barstool Sports’ KFC Radio crew where he talked about the appearance of Logan Paul at WrestleMania 37 and he said he was not a big fan of that appearance. She said;

“I’ll be honest, I wasn’t a mad fan of the Jake Paul thing or which one was it? Logan Paul? At the Mania thing.

“The promos though, especially if they want me to say certain things, because sometimes I just — especially with the crowd, people are chanting and I’m like, ‘Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!’ Here’s the mic, I’m like… ‘Bro’, and while I’m dancing, I’m like, ‘What am I supposed to say? That’s right, Randy’s there. Hey Randy.’”

Charlotte Flair On Missing WWE Wrestlemania 37, “I Was Devastated”

Charlotte Flair is undoubtedly one of the marquee superstars that WWE has to offer on their roster without whom a bigger PPV event remains incomplete. The highly decorated superstar was one of three first women alongside Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch to main-event WrestleMania in 2019, but she, unfortunately, had to sit out WrestleMania 37.

Leading to the show, Charlotte Flair challenged Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship to set up a Wrestlemania 34 rematch. But then her fiancée Andrade was released from the WWE contract and went on to reveal that she was pulled from the show because WWE doctors mistakenly thought that she was pregnant.

At the same time, it was also announced that she tested positive for COVID-19. During a prior interaction with New York Post, Charlotte Flair already mentioned that WWE creative didn’t want to wait for her so that she can be okay after recovering from the virus, and hence they decided to go with Rhea Ripley and Asuka.

Charlotte Flair was happy for Banks and Belair

Now, The Queen spoke to Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso about her being left out of WrestleMania 37. She admitted that she was devastated and it was really tough for her to miss The Show of Shows. At the same time, Charlotte Flair was happy for Sasha Banks, Rhea Ripley, and Bianca Belair for their opportunities.

“I was devastated. I did not take that easy. Missing WrestleMania was hard… As much as it hurt to miss WrestleMania, it was amazing to watch Sasha and see her succeed. Seeing her come off Mandalorian and be in the main event, that was amazing. And Bianca has that special ‘It’ factor. She needs to keep taking that and run with it. Her story, and what she embodies, it’s incredible. So I was happy for both Sasha and Bianca.”

The absence from Charlotte Flair from Wrestlemania 37 didn’t hamper her career, much as she would be back on Raw, the night after that grand event. She would then go on to win the Raw Women’s Championship from Rhea Ripley at Money in the Bank and then again at Summerslam taking her title win count to 12.

Before WrestleMania the final WWE pay per view event was Fastlane. In this event the Scottish Psychopath Drew McIntyre and the Celtic Warrior had an excellent battle. McIntyre, however, won the match since he was going on to challenge Bobby Lashley for the WWE title but at the end of the day the match was excellent.

According to Sheamus, his match against Drew McIntyre at Fastlane was the actual plan for WrestleMania 37. If the claim is true, then Bobby Lashley had some other opponent planned challenging for the WWE championship. In a recent interview Drew McIntyre also claimed that he wanted more time to tell a better storyline along with the Celtic Warrior.

WWE World Champion famous who is a former three times WWE United States champion recently spoke to Wrestling Inc. where he talked about the original plans that WWE had for him for WrestleMania 37. He said;

“That was the plan, you know, I was hoping. Obviously different plans from WWE with Bobby and Drew. The whole idea was I got pushed and got that match at FastLane. You know, I wanted it to be at Mania.

“Just because of the story as well, of us coming together in Ireland and Scotland and wrestling. So, yeah, it was definitely something I wanted to do. It didn’t happen. And then I went and became United States Champion. So, it all worked out pretty good for me. It’s not working out so well for Drew, though.”

“He started laughing and said, ‘You’re on a list of people that have asked me that. ‘I was like, I bet, I can imagine – he gets it all the time by guys being like, ‘Hey you wanna work? You wanna wrestle?’”

Sasha Banks On Main Eventing WrestleMania 37

WWE star Sasha Banks who is a former six times WWE Women’s champion recently expressed her happiness on main eventing WrestleMania 37. Banks featured on the main event of night 1 of WrestleMania 37 along with Bianca Belair where they fought for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Women featuring on the main event of the biggest event of WWE and professional wrestling is definitely a huge deal. There was a time when WWE looked at women as only sex objects, and today they are featuring on the main event of the biggest event of professional wrestling.

Sasha Banks

But this was not the first time that women featured on the main event of the grandest stage of them all. The first WrestleMania that hold the historical record of featuring women on the main event of the show was WrestleMania 35 where WWE Raw Women’s Championship and WWE SmackDown women’s Championship both were on the line, Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch created history when they fought for all the titles in a triple threat match in the main event of WrestleMania 35.

But Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair actually created history because it was the first ever one on one match to feature on the main event of Wrestlemania. So this match was historic definitely, and it was a huge honour for both individuals.

Sasha Banks who is a former six times WWE Women’s champion recently appeared on Rasslin with Brandon F. Walker where she expressed her happiness on featuring of the main event on WrestleMania 37. She said;

“To main event WrestleMania, that was my biggest, biggest, biggest dream, so big that I didn’t even think it was possible. You would never think that as a woman in WWE or as a woman in general that you would be in the headline, main eventing, Wrestle Frickin Mania.

Sasha Banks

“To go out there and wrestle in front of a crowd when we hadn’t been in front of them for a year in a half. To get the reception we did and to deliver and kill it and to have people still talk about that match, it’s the best feeling in the world.

“To go home, leaving people happy and saying ‘that was the match of the night, that was the main event, male or female, period. That was just the greatest.’ That’s something we’re going to remember for the rest of our lives.”

Sasha Banks Has High Hopes From Summerslam

Former six times WWE Women’s Champion Sasha Banks believed SummerSlam this year would be better than Wrestlemania. Banks who defended her SmackDown Women’s title against Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 37 will meet Bianca again at SummerSlam in a rematch from WrestleMania 37.

WrestleMania of this year was quite different from all the recent Wrestlemanias because of a number of things. The most important thing of this year’s WrestleMania was no part timers wrestled in this year’s Wrestlemania, which is actually a good thing.

Sasha Banks

Sasha Banks Has High Hopes From Summerslam

But in SummerSlam, both of the world title matches feature part timers as the challenges for the titles. Goldberg is challenging Bobby Lashley for the WWE championship and John Cena is challenging Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship. Indeed it looks better on paper than the title matches that were booked on Wrestlemania, but part timers should never be the main attraction of any show.

By this logic, we believe WrestleMania 37 was a better show than SummerSlam. But yes, on paper, SummerSlam looks a better pay per view than WrestleMania 37. It should receive more buy rate as well.

Sasha Banks who is a former six times WWE Women’s Champion recently appeared on Rasslin with Brandon F. Walker where she said that she believed SummerSlam this year would be better than Wrestlemania. She said;

“I actually think that this SummerSlam might be bigger than WrestleMania. It feels like it’s going to be bigger than WrestleMania. I’m counting down the days and it’s really creeping up on me. But I am so ecstatic to be back with fans.

“There’s nothing like their energy. So I think this crowd is going to be bigger attendance than WrestleMania, which already makes me, it’s lights a fire in my heart. But yeah, I’m really looking forward to SummerSlam on August 21. And I cannot wait to be Smackdown Women’s Champion again.”

Sasha Banks And Bianca Belair Win Best WWE Moment Award At ESPYs 2021

Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks shared perhaps the brightest moment of this year’s WrestleMania 37. They were the first female WWE Superstars to compete in a singles match in a WrestleMania main event match. WWE always promoted this one to be a huge moment and now it has received another honor for sharing the grandest stage.

Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair also tore the house down in that WrestleMania main event singles match, earning praise from both public and critics. People do remember that one as they did seize the Best WWE Moment Award of the Year at the ESPY Awards 2021. Both the women attended the red carpet event, together for the award show and seemed very happy to share this moment, together.

Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair could feature in a rematch

Sasha Banks has not returned to WWE just yet after that WrestleMania 37 loss at the hands of Belair. She is currently on the sidelines waiting for that perfect moment to make the return. If ongoing rumors are to go by then The Boss and The EST of WWE will collide once again very soon for a rematch. SummerSlam 2021 could be a great occasion to see that bout.

While speaking to Sports Illustrated, Bianca Belair talked about her historic WrestleMania 37 match against Sasha Banks. She mentioned that the moment was something bigger than both her and Banks. The reigning SmackDown Women’s Champion also made it clear that she is ready for the rematch against the veteran WWE Superstar whenever she decides to come back.

“That moment was bigger than us… Even though I won the title, no one lost that night. That’s why there are videos of Sasha smiling at the end. She had so much fulfillment from what came out of that match. Now, when she comes back and the title is on the line, we’ll see who walks out as champion.”

Drew McIntyre Supports The Idea Of Two Night WrestleMania

Former two times WWE champion Drew McIntyre recently supported the idea of two night Wrestlemania. For the last two years, WWE is organizing two night Wrestlemanias and the concept of a two night Wrestlemania had been loved by a lot of fans.

However, a large number of fans and critics did not like the idea of a two night Wrestlemania. According to a lot of fans, this concept kills the intensity of the event. This is the reason why a lot of fans wanted WrestleMania to be a one night event like it always had been.

Drew McIntyre Supports The Idea Of Two Night WrestleMania

For the fans who do not support the idea of two night Wrestlemania, there is a good news for them. WWE has booked WrestleMania 38 and WrestleMania 39 as one night event only.

And to be honest, a two night WrestleMania does not offer much variety or more matches than one night Wrestlemania. On the latest WrestleMania there were a total of 14 matches which was split into two different nights, and the total match time of the event was around 182 minutes. At WrestleMania 35, there were a total of 16 matches with more than 185 match time minute time in total.

Even though the former two times WWE champion Drew McIntyre believes the concept of two night Wrestlemania was better. Recently the Scottish Psychopath appeared on the Battleground podcast where he said;

“I like the two-night format, obviously it was created because of the times we were living in and it gave everyone an entire weekend of WrestleMania when there was no other original content, at the time. I think it’s really cool to have a WrestleMania weekend, or SummerSlam weekend.

Drew McIntyre

“As much as I love WrestleMania and be performing on it, I couldn’t imagine being in the crowd for up to seven hours at a time. It’s such a long event. I remember wrestling Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 35 and we were on a little later, and you could feel the crowd getting a little burnt out as the night goes on because they’ve been there for so long.

“If we broke it into two nights, we’ve got those shorter events and the crowd’s got their energy from start to finish. They can pick a night, they can pick both nights, or make a weekend out of it. So, I’m all about it, but again, I don’t understand the business behind it and what makes the most sense, so I can’t make that decision. But for me, personally, it gets a yes.”

WWE Summerslam 2021 Reportedly Becoming Wrestlemania-Caliber Event

WWE has recently announced that SummerSlam 2021 will go down in Las Vegas on August 21st from the Allegiant Stadium. That event is projected to be a shorter one than usual as the Manny Pacquiao fight would be the biggest draw of that night. But nevertheless, there will be efforts on WWE’s part to make things huge for the August PPV, as claimed in the latest reports.

WrestleMania 37 was a two-night event inside Raymond James Stadium which welcomed fans back after a gap of more than a year. Mainstream celebrities like Logan Paul and Bad Bunny were on board to make it even special but WWE is apparently making even larger plans for SummerSlam 2021. The plan is to make this show no less than the Show of Shows.

Brock Lesnar: WWE Wants A Big Feud For The Beast’s Return At Summerslam 2021

WWE Summerslam 2021 Reportedly Becoming Wrestlemania-Caliber Event 37

According to a new report from WrestleVotes, WWE will be pulling out all the stops for SummerSlam 2021. They have intentions of turning the biggest party of the summer into this year’s WrestleMania which according to many has failed to touch the usual magnitude. The absence of the bigger star powers is one of the reasons behind that.

Ex WWE Star Maria Kanellis Admits, “I Flashed To The Hardy Boyz”

“After speaking to a few sources on the topic, I’ve learned that WWE is 100% attempting to make SummerSlam this year’s WrestleMania. “All resources will be tapped into” is how it was explained to me. I do believe they want Reigns v Cena to headline. Not sure if they’ve decided,” mentioned the source.

WWE Summerslam 2021 Reportedly Becoming Wrestlemania-Caliber Event 38

WWE will go all-out to make Summerslam 2021 a success

As you can see, WWE will be trying all of its resources to make SummerSlam 2021 a huge success. A main-event match between John Cena vs Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship has already been previously reported. Even Brock Lesnar was in the company’s early plans for the event which sparks rumors of the dream match for him with Bobby Lashley. Although there’s no confirmation whether it’d be happening or not.

Also, Rapper Cardi B will reportedly be roped in as the host of SummerSlam 2021 that can gather huge attention for the show. Jon Alba has recently noted that John Cena will definitely be available for the event as he will be wrapping up the Peacemaker schedule. A lot of things could change between now and August 21st and we’ll have to see how the plans will be stacked up in due course. But no matter what, it’s going to be a spectacular night.

Reason Bray Wyatt Lost At WWE Wrestlemania 37; Dealing With Mental Issues?

The feud between Randy Orton and The Fiend Bray Wyatt has been a stretched one that started in the fall of 2020 and was then carried through Wrestlemania season. After being burned down by Orton at TLC 2020, the demonic figure was written off WWE programming for a few months before he resurfaced at FastLane 2021 with a new charred look to feature at the Show of Shows.

At Wrestlemania 37, The Fiend Bray Wyatt competed in a rematch against Randy Orton which was supposed to be for redemption. But to the surprise of the WWE Universe, he ended up losing the match, again, thanks to the distraction by Alexa Bliss. Many were confused with the bizarre ending that this match had witnessed. The possible reason behind the finish has now been revealed.

WWE Raw Star The Miz Gives Clarification On His Fatal Injury Rumors

Reason Bray Wyatt Lost At WWE Wrestlemania 37; Dealing With Mental Issues? 55

According to the Dirty Sheets Patreon page, Bray Wyatt asked for some time off as he’s dealing with mental health issues. Apparently, he was dealing with the death of his close friend Jon Huber (Luke Harper / Brodie Lee), who passed away in December 2020 due to idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. He even paid tribute to the late superstar during the match against Orton at ‘Mania.

WWE Draft Reportedly Returning In 2021 Fall

Bray Wyatt’s Wrestlemania 37 loss was apparently expected

While Bray Wyatt was written off WWE TV before Huber’s death, his waiting fate was known by many of his close friends including Wyatt, due to the illness. The former WWE Champion then agreed to return in time to work for WrestleMania 37, but Vince McMahon wasn’t happy with the shape he returned in.

Bray Wyatt then expressed that he wasn’t ready to be back on TV and was in need of more time off, which resulted in the changes in creative planning. As a result of this, Randy Orton picked up his eleventh win at The Biggest Event of the Year. There’s no update on when the absentee will return, but the hope, backstage is that he’ll be back by SummerSlam 2021.

Reason Bray Wyatt Lost At WWE Wrestlemania 37; Dealing With Mental Issues? 56

While the loss of Bray Wyatt at Wrestlemania was a major discussion for fans, Hall of Famer Booker T believes the wins/losses numbers don’t matter for The Fiend character.

“I don’t think it should be about wins and losses because I mean, we saw what happened. The Fiend got beat, lights go out, everybody disappeared, so did The Fiend really get beat? Could The Fiend have kicked out? Is The Fiend taking Randy Orton on a ride? What’s going to happen next? ‘To be continued!’ That’s the way I look at it,” Booker said of Bray Wyatt on his weekly podcast.

“I think The Fiend is more character-based than anything, man. I think The Fiend is just to make the story something different as far as The Fiend goes, as far as Bray Wyatt goes, as far as the mixing of those characters.”
