She filed a $110 million lawsuit against WWE
Sable’s golden run in the 90s came to an end when she filed a multimillion lawsuit against WWE and Vince McMahon accusing the company doesn’t provide a safe working environment. She was also irate when WWE creative requested her to participated in a lesbian storyline or asked her to have her gown ripped off to mistakenly expose herself on TV. Eventually, both these incidents happened with her in the future.
The lawsuit caused her the championship run
The filed lawsuit would cause severe consequences in her real and professional life. The direct effect came as she had to drop the women’s championship. The only title run of Sable happened in 1998 when she defeated Jacqueline at Survivor Series. The reign lasted 176 days before she lost it to Debra in May 1999.
Sable doesn’t have any wrestling friends
Allegedly, Sable had a bad backstage reputation especially during the last few months with the WWE in the 90s. It was also an added reason for dropping the title that would eventually lead to the downfall. She’s been very clear in the vision of staying away from the limelight as she doesn’t get along with colleagues, that well.
