Lana is not a Russian
Lana was born in Florida. Her parents are of Portuguese and Venezuelan descent and so she isn’t Russian by any means. However, she does have a Soviet accent and the creative utilized it to project her as a Russian. She spent her childhood in Latvia, a Soviet Union state. She returned to the United States when she was 17-years old to learn professional dancing. There have been times when she lost her Russian accents in the middle of a speech.
